You've been SO quiet. Please let us know how things are going.

I know it's a long trek, but hopefully we'll all get to see you in a couple of weeks at the cookie exchange.Leahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11037485291342703216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8731166828559832210.post-80726305639292960912007-11-07T07:48:00.000-05:002007-11-07T07:48:00.000-05:00If we happen to get pregnant again, we will not be...If we happen to get pregnant again, we will not be telling friends until 12 weeks. I will share with my supervisor because she was a fellow infertile but that is only because if something happens, I don't want to push to back to work and put on a facade as I did with the first two losses. Our families know our struggle so we will probably tell them before 3 months but I will want to make sure my betas are doubling appropriately.

I hate that we can be naive and just share in the joy. Infertility is such a drag.

I hope there are no placental issues and that sharing the news goes well :)Kristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03542962726270982824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8731166828559832210.post-89814550601829319842007-11-03T03:29:00.000-05:002007-11-03T03:29:00.000-05:00nO us for me from 12w-23w either. But it came at the expense of placenta issues, contractions, preterm labor, bed rest, and three premature infants, so I'm not sure the tradeoff was completely worth it. On the other hand, I'm still not sorry I had so many ultrasounds!Ms. Perkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06923832430040384294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8731166828559832210.post-46084563018917126652007-11-01T09:18:00.000-05:002007-11-01T09:18:00.000-05:00I'm a worrier too - with my first I remember I tol...I'm a worrier too - with my first I remember I told my boss when I was 11 weeks and 6 days, and I was wracked with anxiety that I was "jumping the gun." I was sure that I would be promptly punished for my overconfidence. It sucks, what a persecution complex this stuff gives you. I'm glad your pregnancy (your pregnancy!) is progressing well.In and Out of Luckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11211825510910211158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8731166828559832210.post-63199065157692013902007-10-31T17:29:00.000-05:002007-10-31T17:29:00.000-05:00I'm sorry it's been such a scary ride for you. We haven't met with a genetic counselor -- it was my OB who told me that my HCG levels could have a correlation with early placental aging.

I'm really hoping for smooth sailing for us both.ultimatejourneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01385256618267945461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8731166828559832210.post-67860973687597640912007-10-30T17:08:00.000-05:002007-10-30T17:08:00.000-05:00glad you heard the hb :) and that your appt went r...glad you heard the hb :) and that your appt went relatively well.Lea Beehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12244136507772057014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8731166828559832210.post-60989317919107151222007-10-30T08:31:00.000-05:002007-10-30T08:31:00.000-05:00don't know anything about placenta problems...but ...don't know anything about placenta problems...but fear i know.

fear it seems normal in the land of ivf,DE, etc... hopefully as you get more comfortable in your pregnancy (hey, isn't that great, you're in your pregnancy?) you'll feel less fear. for us the fear is just starting to go away...at 23 weeks...but it did abate slowly...still i have to say at every doc visit a part of me holds my breathe.

exciting that you're telling the rest of your family this weekend.stacybhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15287587962566164235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8731166828559832210.post-41105440258875538692007-10-29T18:33:00.000-05:002007-10-29T18:33:00.000-05:00Glad to hear everything is going great. Its sad that we work so hard to get pregnant and when we finally get there.. we can't enjoy it because fear takes a hold of us. You sound like so many other bloggers who went through hell to finally get there. One Viewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16092873478760754270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8731166828559832210.post-83819384858556576052007-10-26T22:10:00.000-05:002007-10-26T22:10:00.000-05:00I waited until I was fully three months along befo...I waited until I was fully three months along before breaking the news.

Then I almost didn't want to tell because I'd made it that far without saying anything that then it was like a present / treasure to hold onto. :DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
